Principles of the Russian Information Agency editorial board's activities
The editorial board of the Russian Information Agency (ARI, Агентство Русской Информации) web-site which provides the social and political information and comments for the public proceeds in its activities from the assumption that Internet users need a valuation of the current events from the standpoint of the Russians people constituting, as it is well known, 85 % of the Russian Federation population.
We have assumed the responsibility for covering events that occur in Russia and the world on the daily basis and emphasising their meaning for the Russian people in particular.
We are aware of the fact that the Russian part of the RF population is heterogeneous and represents several groups whose interests are far from being coincidental. However, we have the most important desire in common and this desire is to live free in our land and enjoy all the rights and advantages the masters of the land are to enjoy. We are deprived of these rights and advantages so far.
We think that the information field formed by the international (mainly Jewish) clique, which has taken over the best part of the mass media, is far from contributing to a thorough insight into the current events, misinforms and distract the Russians' minds from actual problems. Thus, it sideways contributes to the Russians DYING OUT.
(As the old saying goes, the God deprives people He is going to ruin of their reason. That's absolutely true. The point is whether it is the genuine intention of the God to destroy the Russians as the nation or not and the current deplorable condition of the Russians is the result of the evil will of some group. We opt for the second answer. We concede that this group has achieved the tremendous success in depriving the Russians of their sound understanding and even of their common sense. Nowadays the public opinion in this country is a terrible mess. In itself this condition might be not a reason to worry about were there a chance to oppose obsessions so vigorously forced upon the Russians. However the official media provides no chance for opposition to numerous faulty, perverse notions, ideas, phobias, theories, prejudices preached to the Russians. The free discussion is already impossible in the RF established media.)
We're firmly convinced that "The God is not in strength, but in the truth" and therefore we're adhere to the principles of the freedom of speech. Yet, we distinguish the freedom of speech and "the freedom of falsification" and consider the manipulation with the public opinion, so widely spread in the present information field, completely unacceptable.
Further, we feel that nowadays the government in charge neither expresses nor protects the interests of the Russian population overwhelming majority, Russian people. At the same time we are sure that such official opposition as Communistic Party (КПРФ) and other political structures that play upon the Russians' nostalgia and hostility to the so-called "democrats" is nothing but a gang of individualists concerned only about their own social state and wealth.
We think that the public ruling principles based on free, equal for everyone and honest elections, i.e. the real democratic principles, are the only basis on which a true national government may be built. Yet, the Russian people are deprived of this right to be represented in all the governmental branches. By means of manipulations, using the informational, financial and governmental resources a miserable group of people only imitate elections which is a trick to usurp the power. The existing so-called "elected" parties and citizens represent nobody but themselves. At the same time people who call themselves "democrats" are genetically linked with the old party nomenclature and are dangerous political criminals who have plunged Russia into a deep economical gulf and significantly lowered the Russians' living standard thus making the very survival of the Russian nation a doubtful proposition.
We feel no antipathy to other ethnic origins and acknowledge the human rights stated in the international documents, but we doesn't feel like giving up the masters of the land rights. That is to say we consider any participation of non-Russian people in government of our state and intervention into our culture a form of occupation and oppression of the Russian nation. At the same time we assume that somebody is Russian not for the purity of his pedigree but due to the natural family ties through any of the parents, his or her genuine self-perception as a Russian and other people's recognition of the individual as a Russian.
We believe in God but acknowledge other people's right to profess the belief according to their notions of the religious rituals. At the same time we regard the influence on a human that have those religious institutions with the aim to suppress one's conscience as an evil.
We work and act in accordance with all the principles set forth above.
The appearance of another news cite in the Russian Web was caused by the urgent necessity to break the certain groups' monopoly on the information about the vital issues of the Russians' life. We're far from striving for the laurels of an astonishing quantity as well as the best technical quality. Our principal feature is that we feel ourselves completely different generation of people in the information field. What is the difference? All the difference in the world. We're free from the Soviet mass media cringe and from the venality of the oligarchic mass media. We don't accept the present anti-Russian journalism created by habitants of the USSR surroundings who has grabbed cushy job in the Communist propaganda apparatus. It was they and their children who generated the aggressive medium, the phenomenon defined by L. N. Goumilev as the "ethnic chimera". This phenomenon begot the so called "Russian-language journalism" which is dominant nowadays and, due to its nature, hates anything Russian. At the same time we are free of the historically absurd "homesickness" for the monarchy, the empire, Stalin, the "good Soviet times". We cannot accept the blind affection to the official Russian Orthodox faith as well. The pro-Eurasian and pro-Western ways are alien to us as well as the notion of some peculiar way.
What we need is a modern, original, authentic Russia, a country of free people who believe in God, love their Motherland, their nation and their own culture. Such country will be established by a daily incessant effort made by every common Russian who understands the essence of the current events, is aware of his nation's aims, is able to act and make decisions deliberately. We have no intention to offend persons of non-Russian origins by such formulation of the issue. Rather, we set the task to realise national interests of the Russians. Our web-site is an attempt to speak in objective, unbiased way and to perceive events from the standpoint of the Russian mentality unburdened with false stereotypes of the past and the present.
